Fig Trees
Fig Tree - White Adriatic - Planted winter 2012
This tree produces heavy crops of large sized fruit with yellow green skin and pink flesh. As a very nutritious fruit, it has a good flavor and can be eaten fresh, used for jam. As a self pollinating variety it matures early summer to late autumn. Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil. Water well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree will encourage new growth.
