Lloyd Godman, an artist based at The Baldessin Studio – a 13-acre artists studio set in bushland north-east of Melbourne – has achieved what few artists manage to accomplish: the development of original artworks using personally developed new materials. In Godman’s case, his ‘new materials’ are privately grown, slow-growing plants and hybrids (propagated on-site).
