Alphaspace Technical Director Geoff Beech examines the Tillandsias at site 3 - 20 May 2019 - the plants are alive and growing - they have survived the driest 2 years on record.

 

Note the plants are beginning to grow through the mesh cell.

Ther plant cell is mounted on the screen of the gantry that crosses the glass section of roof

 

With a wink and a little imagination (or a good pair of binoculars) the plant cage can just be viewed from inside the atrium

The plant cage is mounted on the gantry that spans the glass panels. Covertly it sits above the entrance to the NGV Potter.
