On Friday Jesus carried his own cross to the place of the Skull. Here the soldiers crucified him. Jesus’ body was wrapped in linen and placed in a tomb. On Sunday an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and rolled back the stone of the tomb. The tomb was empty and the angel said, “Do not be afraid.
