Coffee

Open call for coffee-themed art in any medium that can pass through the Mail. A celebration of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach featuring the humorous secular Coffee Cantata for soprano, tenor and bass. Not just an ode to the divine brew, the Coffee Cantata also poked fun at the movement in Germany to stop women from drinking coffee (it was thought to make them sterile.) The Chamber Music Ensemble, CAMARADA will host a mailart exhibit of coffee-themed mail art ranging from postcard-sized sketches to actual coffee cups which have been mailed sans envelope with the good-natured support of local post offices.
