From the earlier work I had explored with plants, photosynthesis and my fascination with light, the idea arose to suspend a series of Bromeliads from the ceiling and project light through them to make shadow patterns on a wall. The work developed where the shadows from the arrangement of plants created the word light in a cryptic organic text font -
