Following the installation of Carbon Obscura for the Sustainablity Festival at Morwell, it had always been intended to install the work in the sculpture courtyard at the LaTrobe Regional Art Gallery. The work was installed in December 2008. The large mural that had be installed in the museum case as part of Timed Lapse in the Burringa survey show was also hung on a facing wall of the courtyard enclosure. The mural was sponsored with assistance from Omnigarphics and the use of Bio Flex The First Landfill Degradable PVC.
