Like any copy work - Make sure the work is parallel on both axis to the camera.



 

When photographing very small originals, care has to be taken to avoid uneven lighting due to the camera lens being too close to the original. There can also be problems with focus and depth of field is more critical. Find a very small colour original, 6x6 cm and photograph it with even lighting and in sharp focus.
