• Use a flat field
corrected lens if possible
• Use a lower speed
film or set your ISO on your digital camera to a lower speed for less
grain and “noise
• If original is behind
glass use a black card over your camera with a hole cut into it for
the lens. This will stop any reflections of your camera occurring. Use
polarized light and or a polarizing filter.
• Be careful of delicate
originals with too much heat generated by tungsten lights.
• Use a black background
if possible to minimize flare
