if the shutter speed of the camera is slow enough
- perhaps ¼ sec and also the flash goes off during this exposure
- you will find in effect the image is a combination the flash which
topes the action and the actual shutter speed which tends to record
the subject as a blur. This is often termed real or front cutain.
It gives the image a very interesting effect
