VIEW CAMERA LENS
Shutters

These shutters will often have both B and T setting, either of which can be used to open the lens to view the subject in the ground glass.

B = Bulb setting (the shutter stays open as long as the shutter release is held open) This can be used for exposures of 2 seconds to about 30 seconds

T =time exposure (the shutter opens when the shutter is pressed and then closes when it is repressed) This can be used to open the shutter for focusing and for very long exposures.
