Film Cameras - What is a Film Format? Film Cameras -

8x10 & 4x5 large format

4x5: This film comes as sheets that have to be loaded into cut film holders in the dark rather than in a roll, it is on a thicker film base and is a quarter of the area of 8x10. Its main use is with view cameras.

8x10: This is the largest size film in general use nd many photographers using this format do not enlarge the image to make a print. They make contact prints with the negative laid on the paper.

As part of the Body Symbol work I shot several 4x5 Negatives
