Any tin like this can be used to make a pinhole camera

Pinhole camera
Any darkened container, like a tin or box, can be used as a pinhole camera. Like Carbon Obscura, a small pinhole is punctured in one end in a manner that allows the light to project onto a photosensitive surface ( say  - photographic paper). Over time (perhaps 2 minutes) the light exposes to form a latent image, which is then developed in photographic chemicals.

You could even use a digital SLR camera with a small hole in the body cap instead of the lens to create a DSLR pinhole camera.  Serious pinhole photographers strive to produce the perfect hole - this should be round, with no burrs and of an optimal diameter for the focal length or distance from the opening to the sensitive material. When the aperture or hole diameter is optimized for the focal length this simple camera produces surprisingly sharp images. If the opening is too large or too small the sharpness falls off.
