Reminiscent of Yuccas, Beschorneria yuccoides (Mexican Lily) is an evergreen perennial forming a soft stemless rosette of strap-shaped, gray-green leaves, up to 2 ft. The plant is heat and drought tolerant. Somewhat silialr to a miniture gymea lily, the Mexican Lily contributes a bold architectural form throughout the year. Hardy, stemless, clumping, succulent has long, broad, glossy, rosette of arching dark green leaves and a large, arching spike of pink, bell-shaped flowers on a long spike in Summer. Ideal for full sun in garden beds, as features, in rockeries and in pots. |
