Photographic Syntax - Perspective - View Point - Low view point

 

When the camera is positioned at a low angle to the subject areas of the areas of the subject closest to the lens become larger in relationship to those further away. It is a means of capturing the audience's attention by presenting a vision of the subject not normaly seen. Perhaps that of a small child, or even lower to that of a snail.

Like the child it can make the audience feel small and vulnerable.
