Blur - Camera movement or shake

By selecting a slowish shutter speed and deliberately moving the camera during an exposure, the scene can appear blurred in the image. Rather than reference the subject moving within a still environment as with a selective subject blur, it can suggest the audience is in motion. Different amounts of blur through moving the camera give different effects and depending upon the nature of the subject produce quite different results.

Very small mounts of movement can be unconvincing and look like camera shake and some experimentation is needed to gain the desired effect.
