Non-lossy

A non-lossy (loss less) compression formula delivers relatively small compression ratios ( no more than about 2:1 reduction in file size), without degrading image quality. When a non-lossy file is opened for viewing or editing, all original pixel values are reconstructed and no loss in data can be found.
