• Ensure the camera is Parallel to the original

Make sure the bubble settles between the two lines

When using a vertical copy stand, ensure the camera and the original are parallel to each other, otherwise the image will be copied with a distorted perspective.

With This can be done with a small level on the camera and the copy baseboard and or a piece of string measuring from each corner to the lens.

If there is a discrepancy in the the two levels the base board may need to be reset to the up-stand and head.
