Firstly it is valuable
to acknowledged there are several types of coping objectives that
you might be required to undertake and it is important that you
establish this before you begin.
• Objective
one. Faithful reproduction of the original including all
surface defects, colour and tonal inadequacies.
• Objective two. Faithful reproduction of
the original image but with repair of any surface defects. (Scratches
stains etc.)
• Objective three. Reproduction of the original
image with enhancement which may repair any surface defects and
also improve the colour and tonality of the original image.
• Objective
four. Reproduction of the original image using a technique
that will create a significant shift in the colour or resolution
and include manipulation of the image like adding a visual element
like a person who was not present..
