Materials that can be used to make photograms & other potentials
While most photograms are made with
standard black and white photographic paper, the Photogram is a process
that lends itself to experimenting and in terms of materials, the
limiting factor is only one's imagination.
Photograms
on living plant tissue: - (Photosynthetic images)
Perhaps the most common example of this is the way marks can be created
on our skin through sun burn, or an object laid on the grass for a
while; these are also a photogram images. The living emulsions of
plants and the process of photosynthesis is another potential from
making photogram images.

Masks can be cut
from tape and placed on the leaves of plants to make images over a
period of months.
Of course these
images will be ephemeral and if you want to keep them will need to
be photographed in the normal manner.
I
used Bromeliad plants and the process of photosynthesis for the photosynthesis aspect of the PLANeT
II project.
