4 Fine focus the camera on ground glass. It is a good idea to use a lupe to achieve accurate sharp focus.
5 Calculate correct exposure and set aperture and shutter, then cock and release shutter to make sure it is working correctly.

6 (Make sure all movements and the tripod are locked tight). It is really easy to forget one lock and find the alignment or focus shifts when the film holder is inserted. The monorail camera can have eight movements to lock up.
