Metamorphosis

Absent in camouflage the day slips past
crushed velvet dusk is here

then the flicker of wings against the dusty warm air
in search of light
excentric paths eventually cross
against the light a delicate texture of veins
Burned in unison fragments of wings
antenna searching dragging the frenulum behind
