As a regular ritual beginning in 1997 Tess Edwards created this fascinating archive of work, which extends across 17 books with more than 500 individual paintings.

The original works in the prayer books are fragile, private documents and as such are difficult to exhibit without damage. However, by accessing the very latest pigment printing techniques and the expertise of Pharos Editions, the images have been printed slightly larger than life, and are now accessible as an exhibition, which can be hung in a traditional context.

Each of the images selected from the pages has been printed as an edition of 25 with highly permanent pigment on archival paper 308 gram Hahnemuehle paper.

An exhibition can be curated from the extensive archive of works that are part of the series. This could consist of framed works, mounted works pinned to the wall and an installation of the original books.
